At Maxx, Russ leads the business development team with clarity, collaboration, and a genuine drive to help others succeed. Known people-first leadership style, Russ encourages his team to take initiative, bring forward ideas, and run with them. He’s a firm believer that the best results come from empowering others, staying curious, and always putting your best foot forward. When he’s not at work, he is coaching and volunteering his time for his 3 kids in hockey.

A NAIT Construction Engineering graduate, Dan started his career in Fort St. John and worked his way from field roles to Senior Construction Manager, giving him a grounded understanding of frontline work and the people who do it. Known for his steady leadership and high standards, he leads with clarity, trust, and a focus on quality execution. In his role as VP, Dan drives operational performance and supports the continued growth of Maxx’s service offerings.

With an additional 15 years in well testing before that, Shaun brings both breadth and depth to his role, leading multiple teams, mentoring staff, and building enduring relationships with clients and vendors. He’s known for his calm and approachable demeanor, creating a work environment where people feel comfortable making decisions and learning through experience. He believes that good decisions come from trust, and gives his teams room to think, act, and grow. Shaun credits Maxx’s operational success to its experienced field crews and long-standing team cohesion. With low turnover and strong friendships across the company, Shaun sees Maxx as more than a workplace, it’s a community where collaboration and commitment drive results.

Today, Blake focuses on ensuring his teams deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality work for clients. He later worked with global oil producers across Western Canada, strengthening his expertise in safety leadership, field-level risk management, and consistent operational standards. At Maxx, Gary leads the company’s HSE programs with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability, and building a culture where safety is second nature. Known for his straightforward, honest approach, he works closely with teams to align communication, planning, and execution in the field. He fosters an open, no-fault environment where concerns can be raised early and addressed constructively, ensuring both workers and clients feel heard and supported. Born in Asia, educated in the UK, and having worked across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North America, Mani’s career has spanned offshore rigs, remote deserts, and snowy Canadian winters, each shaping his adaptive, detail-driven approach. He holds a Master’s in Structural Integrity and an impressive list of certifications, from AWS-CWI to PMP and NACE CIP Level 3. But for Mani, quality isn’t just technical, it’s cultural. He mentors his teams with clarity and purpose, always emphasizing the “why” behind the work. At Maxx, he’s known for fostering accountability, collaboration, and pride in delivering safe, high-quality results every time.
